You pay nothing to use our service. We are compensated by our finance manager partners when a match results in a funded loan.

Instead of applying to banks individually (each application triggering a hard credit inquiry), you submit one application and we match you with a finance manager who identifies the lender most likely to approve you. This approach is particularly valuable for borrowers who don't fit the standard bank profile: those with damaged credit, irregular income, or limited credit history. The finance manager does the lender shopping. You get a single point of contact and better odds of approval.

How is Ready Auto different from applying directly to a bank?

When you apply directly to a bank and get declined, the hard inquiry still appears on your credit report. If you apply to three banks, that is three hard inquiries, which can lower your score and make the next application harder. Ready Auto matches you with a finance manager who compares your profile against multiple lender options. Your credit is only impacted when you formally accept an offer. You get an answer faster, without the damage from multiple hard inquiries.

Ready Auto currently serves borrowers in British Columbia and Alberta. We are expanding into additional provinces, but for now, if you are outside BC or AB your application may not match a finance manager. Contact us at hello@readyautoloans.com if you are unsure whether we serve your area yet.

Is there any cost to use Ready Auto?

No. Applying through Ready Auto is free. We do not charge application fees, brokerage fees, or any fees to borrowers. Our compensation comes from our finance manager partners when a match results in an approved loan.

How do I apply?

Accepted Answer

Click 'I'm ready' on any page and complete the short application form. It takes about 3 minutes. You will need basic information: your identity, income, employment, and the type of vehicle you are looking for. No documents are required upfront.

Do I need to upload documents to apply?

Accepted Answer

No documents are required to submit your initial application. Once a lender decides to move forward, they may request pay stubs, bank statements, or ID. That happens after your finance manager calls, not before.

Can I apply if I am self-employed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Self-employed applicants are welcome. Lenders will typically want to see consistent income over the past 1-2 years, but many work with variable or contract income as well. Your finance manager will advise on what documentation helps.

Do you serve all provinces and territories?

Not yet. Ready Auto currently serves British Columbia and Alberta. We are expanding into additional provinces. If you are outside BC or AB and still want to apply, submit an application and we will let you know honestly whether we can match you today or whether it makes sense to wait.

Can I apply with a co-applicant?

Applications are submitted by the primary borrower. If you want to add a co-applicant (a spouse, family member, or anyone else), let your finance manager know when they call and they will walk you through the process.

Will applying hurt my credit score?

Accepted Answer

No. Ready Auto does not pull your credit at the application stage, so there is no impact on your score from applying with us. A hard inquiry only occurs later, once you are working directly with a finance manager and formally proceed with a specific lender. That step is entirely under your control.

Can I get a car loan with bad credit in Canada?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our finance manager partners work with companies that specialize in subprime and near-prime borrowers, including people with credit scores below 620, missed payments, collections, or other credit challenges. We work with your actual profile rather than filtering you out. Being honest on your application gives us the the best chance of finding an option that fits.

Can I get a car loan after bankruptcy in Canada?

Yes, in many cases. Finance managers in our network work with customers who have discharged bankruptcies, active consumer proposals, and past collections. Options may be more limited and rates will typically be higher, but auto financing after bankruptcy is possible, particularly with stable income and some down payment. We are upfront about what to expect.

Can I get a car loan after a consumer proposal?

Yes. A consumer proposal does not permanently disqualify you from auto financing. We have finance managers who specifically work with borrowers in or recently discharged from consumer proposals. Your finance manager will be honest with you about what is realistic given your current situation.

We match your profile with the right finance manager rather than screening against a single bar.

We support financing for new vehicles, used vehicles, and certified pre-owned vehicles: cars, trucks, SUVs, crossovers, minivans, and electric vehicles. If it is sold at a dealership in Canada, we can likely help you get it financed.

Terms typically range from 24 to 96 months depending on the lender and vehicle. Longer terms lower the monthly payment but increase total interest paid over time. Your finance manager will walk you through the trade-offs for your situation.

Rates depend on your credit score, income, down payment, loan term, and the specific lender. Borrowers with strong credit can qualify for rates near the prime lending rate. Borrowers rebuilding credit will see higher rates, but the goal is always to find the lowest rate available for your actual profile. We do not profit from you accepting a worse rate.
